Work continued this week on the walls and the main roof.
The blockwork walls on the first floor were completed and the bricklayers then moved on to the next stage of facing brickwork, with most of this up to the top of the ground floor by the end of the week.
Meanwhile, the joiners progressed with the roof timbers, involving individually hand cutting each joist to fit. The complex "valley" detail caused some headaches!
The weather forecast for next week is not looking good so could slow progress down.
