This week saw the completion of the steel framework of our new museum. We can now see just how big it is going to be - it's huge!
This covers 3 floors with exhibition space, education suite and offices as well as an object store and archive. The steel framework also ties the existing building to the new one.
Next week the concrete staircase arrives together with scaffolders and bricklayers.
