Land of Iron is on the road again as we take Mine on the Move to the historic Lingdale Tavern.
Lingdale as a village did not exist before the establishment of its ironstone mine in 1870 - without the mine, it might never have!
We will be bringing artefacts, documents, photographs and more to the village on Thursday 27 February. Our family history experts will be on hand to help you track down information about your ancestors, or maybe just who used to live in your house many years ago!
We will have entertainment throughout the day and there will be family activities to take part in.
Food and drink will be available from the wonderful folks at Lingdale Tavern.
Entry is free but please give a donation if you can spare one.
