Join us for the last Tom Leonard Lecture of 2024!
Pigeon racing has had a strong presence in East Cleveland communities for many years. Complemented by historic and contemporay images, this talk will look at pigeon fancying's origins and development in the area, and its continuing role in making up our social fabric.
The talk will be presented by local historian John Roberts, alongside pigeon fanciers Tom Evans and Brian Sayers who will be joined by award-winning North East photographer Joanne Coates.
Please note: Doors to the museum open at 6pm. Talk starts at 6.30pm and will end around 7.45pm.
