Author and historian Graham Brooks travels to Land of Iron to talk about the differences and similarities between Cleveland and Cumbria’s iron industries.

Join Graham as he explores the early iron bloomeries in South Cumbria, charcoal blast furnaces and mines such as Hodbarrow, and learn about the development of the ironworks, early Bessemer converters and the rail manufacturing hub at Workington.
