Join us for an engaging multimedia experience centred around Vulcan, the God of Fire, Furnaces, and Volcanoes!

This exciting initiative, funded by a research and development grant from Arts Council England, draws inspiration from the rich mythology of Vulcan.

In collaboration with Land of Iron, Cradle of Fire are thrilled to present a variety of activities as part of this project.

What to Expect:

- A screening of the short film Cradle of Fire

- A captivating poetry reading by writer and co-director Carolyn Waudby

- An artist talk and Q&A session with Diana Scarborough, our lead artist, engineer, and filmmaker

Additionally, you can explore Vulcan-inspired art prints and view fascinating artefacts curated by Angela List-Evans, Collections Manager at Land of Iron.

Come and meet both teams, enjoy some refreshments, and immerse yourself in the journey!

Admission to the event is free but we would be very grateful if you would consider making a donation to Land of Iron. Please book in advance if possible as capacity is limited and this is the best way to guarantee entry.
