Skinningrove History Group has been developing an archive for several years and is currently organising material into a number of themes. The material comprises publications, photographs, maps, census data, interviews with residents and other documents which together form a comprehensive picture of Skinningrove and the surrounding area in the past. The objectives that underpin this activity are to conserve and celebrate the rich historical legacy we have inherited and to learn how we have come to be where we are today.
Potential themes that the history group may develop include:
- Village life in the 1950s
- Census records
- Floods in 2000
- Oral interviews with residents.
