This week again saw significant progress with the walls. The first-floor blockwork is almost complete. This includes the outer walls of the education rooms and the collections office.
The roof trusses were also delivered this week and lifted onto the second floor. Joiners installed the trusses later in the week and made a start on the roof joists for the lower section of the main roof.
Next week bricklayers will return to the facing brickwork and the roof will continue to be constructed.
